Passionate about storytelling and currently working primarily in documentary on a range of projects from international feature docs to environmental films, current affairs and investigative documentaries . I have very good sequence building and lighting (including the creative use of available light) skills, am confident at recording sound and have very good interviewing skills when needed. I own a Sony FX6 kit with mics and lights and bring a combination of personal and cinematographic skills and life experience that works well in a wide range of documentary situations.
With a friendly, flexible approach but a strong drive to capture the spirit of a story, I have shot perceptively in in a wide range of situations and locations. I have lived in the Middle East and Caribbean and several of my projects have involved finding and filming communities that are hard to access.
I enjoy lighting and work creatively and quickly with a combination of natural and available light and additional lamps so am very open to work that uses these skill areas and perhaps requires well lit interviews or drama sections.
